Jamie and Matt - Engagement Photography, Lagunas Beach, Santa Cruz, California

Lagunas beach is one of Matt's local surf spots, and since I was new to the beach I was excited to explore it with them. It's very private, accessible, and has tons of natural features lending itself well to engagement shoots. Matt and Jamie were great to work with as we got some practice in before their wedding day. The highlight was the breaching baby humpback whale Matt spotted – such an amazing thing to witness!
