For every wedding I like to pick my favorite 150 or so photos. Since that's still a lot of photos for the casual viewer to sift through, I create these "photo boards" of my favorites – optimally cropping and arranging each wedding in an album-like collage that gets each wedding down to about 8 or 9 images. This is a quick way to see how I cover typical weddings without viewing thousands of photos over several hours. I think it's important to know what kind of photos your photographer likes, because if it's in line with your own desires, you'll be that much more confident in his or her abilities to truly capture your day the way you envisioned. Enjoy these "Best Wedding Images of 2012" – they were photographed all over the Bay Area – from Monterey to San Francisco to Sonoma – and even Maui, Hawaii!
